West Mifflin Community Memorial Day Services will be held on Saturday, May 24th at Mitchel Paige Memorial Park (located at the corner of Commonwealth Ave & Homeville Rd.) at 10 AM. Speaker will be Major Harbula, U.S.A.F. In addition to honoring our veterans -- we will also honor the West Mifflin Borough Police Department, Fire Fighters and Emergency Medical Service. Wreaths will be presented recognizing the various military service branches and local community departments. West Mifflin Area High School Titan Band will provide the buglers for "Taps." There will also be a special dedication of the WWI Memorial Tablet podium bulit by Boy Scout Jesse Toth as his Eagle Scout project. Plan to be there to honor our veterans! |
