Due to the numerous phone calls the Borough has received recently, the Borough would like to remind residents that the recent tax bill is for their West Mifflin Area School District Taxes. The Borough Tax bills were sent out in March and the Borough lowered the 2014 millage rate to 7.55 Mills, which is a .47 Mills Decrease from 2013. The Borough of West Mifflin and West Mifflin Area School District are two separate entities. If you have questions regarding your current West Mifflin Area School District Tax bill, you should direct your questions to the West Mifflin Area School District whose number is (412) 466-9131. Thank you!

We are now accepting booth rentals for The Borough of West Mifflin's Community Day located at Century III Mall on Saturday, September 13, 2014. The cost to rent a booth is $100. For more information or to rent a booth please contact Steve Keron at (412) 466-2127 or skeron@westmifflinborough.com.

For a limited time only, the Allegheny County Vacant Property Recovery Program will accept applications to acquire vacant properties in 28 municipalities at reduced cost to the applicant. In all other respects, applications for this Program must comply with Program policies.

The West Mifflin Borough Council will hold a Public Hearing in Municipal Council Chambers, 1020 Lebanon Road on Tuesday July 15 at 6:00 PM for the purpose of public comment on amendments and repealing sections of Chapter 135 of the Borough Code  (FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION). A copy of the amendments is available to view in the Administration offices located at 1020 Lebanon Road between the hours of 9-4 Monday thru Friday.

West Mifflin Borough Council will hold a Public Hearing in Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 1020 Lebanon Road on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at 5:30 PM for the purpose of hearing public comment on the Conditional Use Authorization request from B&R Holdings for the use of the property located at 4821 Buttermilk Hollow Rd for the purpose of using the property as a Contractors Yard in a C-1 Zoning District.

The applicant has filed an application for a Conditional Use authorization subject to the following section of the Borough Zoning Ordinance Chapter 290 of the Borough Code. The applicant is filing for a Contractor’s Yard in a C-1 zoning district. This request is subject to the following conditions.
